From Broken to Mended: My Story of Becoming Divinely Designed

I didn’t set out to start a healing ministry. Truth is, I didn’t even know I needed healing.
For years, I lived what most would call a “functional” life. Smiling on the outside, serving others, showing up for work, family, and ministry. But on the inside? I was pieced together like a cracked vase—trying to hold water but leaking at every seam.
I carried unspoken disappointments, heartbreaks that stacked up like bricks around my heart, and lies whispered so long I started to believe them:
“You’re too damaged.”
“Your voice doesn’t matter.”
“God can use others, but not someone like you.”
Maybe you’ve heard those lies, too.
One night, I remember standing in the kitchen, staring at a cabinet door I had opened a thousand times before. But this time, I felt the Holy Spirit whisper, “What if I want to mend what’s been broken? What if the cracks aren’t your failure, but the very places My light can shine through?”
That moment marked the beginning of my mending.
Not all at once.
Not without tears.
Not without revisiting some painful places.
But little by little, the Lord began to show me that my story wasn’t over—it was just being rewritten by the hands of the Master Potter. He wasn’t ashamed of my broken places. He saw them as opportunities for His glory to be revealed.
That’s where DivinelyDesigned60 was born—not from a place of having it all together, but from learning how to hand God the pieces and let Him create something new.
I’ve discovered that healing isn’t a one-time event. It’s a journey. And the beauty? You don’t have to take it alone.
Through every podcast, every healing kit, every letter I write, and every prayer I pray—I carry this one message:
You are not too far gone. You are not too broken. You are still divinely designed.
So, here I am—still on the journey.
Still learning.
Still mending.
But fully convinced that God turns ashes into beauty, pain into purpose, and broken into whole.
I hope you’ll walk this journey with me.
With love,
Gayla (DivinelyDesigned60)
