About the Author

I’m Gayla Metzendorf, a Christian author who believes stories have the power to draw us closer to God.

Whether I’m writing Bible studies, devotionals, or Christian fiction, every book begins with the same prayer: that readers would encounter biblical truth in a way that strengthens their faith and encourages them to keep walking with Christ.

Some of my books explore Scripture verse by verse. Others invite readers to experience biblical principles through story. Together, they reflect my passion for helping people discover God’s character, understand His Word more deeply, and find hope in every season of life.

Thank you for visiting my library. I hope you’ll find a book that speaks to where you are today and reminds you that God is always writing a greater story.

What Readers are Saying

Back to Eden

I have already completed the first round of reading and translating the book.

I would love to share my heart with you about this book. To me, it is far beyond just a book . The book teaches me a relationship. It is about understanding intimacy with the inner voice of the Holy Spirit beyond the noise of the flesh in every aspect of our lives, and learning how to walk closely with the Lord.

Thank you so much, dear Gayla, for being such a blessing to me and to all the people your amazing book is going to reach.

I do not feel only lucky, but truly blessed to have a person like you in my life.

Back to Eden

Hello, dear sister Gayla. I would like to say thank you once again for you being blessing to us.
I'm stay connected with to the gift you given us.i would like to share you what I read from the book.

"Those who truly live in Eden always say, “Nothing else matters but God.”
Even if we walk and live in the garden, if we are hindered from His presence, fellowship, and that lovely voice, surely we are out of Eden.
I came with nothing, and I will depart with nothing. But I did not come without God, and I do not want to depart without the identity I came with. That is the mystery of living in Eden".
