Something Isn’t Right… And You Know It

Scripture

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

Proverbs 3:5–6 KJV

There comes a moment in your walk with God when something shifts.

Not outwardly. Not where anyone else can see it.

But inwardly…

You begin to notice things that no longer sit right within you.

Thoughts that once felt normal now feel foreign.

Patterns you once moved in without question now feel heavy.

Voices you once trusted now feel… off. And you can’t always explain it.

You try to ignore it. You try to push past it, you pray through it and keep moving forward.

But it doesn’t go away because it was never meant to.

That stirring within you is not confusion. It’s not failure! It’s not you “losing your way.”

It is awareness!

God, in His mercy, begins to uncover what has been hidden beneath the surface. He allows you to see what you could not see before. Not to overwhelm you… but to awaken you. And for a moment, it feels like clarity. Like you’ve finally arrived at understanding.

But what if what you’ve seen… is only the beginning?

Because recognizing that something isn’t right is powerful…

but it is not the end of the journey.

It is the doorway.

The doorway into deeper truth.

Deeper healing.

Deeper alignment with who God has always called you to be. And this is where many stop.

Not because they don’t love God.

Not because they don’t desire truth.

But because they don’t realize that what they’ve just stepped into… is an invitation to go further.

God is not asking you to stay in awareness.

He is inviting you into transformation.

Extended Insight

Spiritual awareness is the first layer of restoration, but it is not the full work.

Many believers live in a place of recognition. They know something is off. They can feel it. They may even begin to identify it.

But without walking it through… without allowing God to renew, reframe, and realign what has been uncovered… they remain in a cycle of seeing without fully becoming.

Proverbs 3:5–6 reveals something deeper than trust alone. It reveals surrender of understanding.

“Lean not unto thine own understanding.”

That means the very place where you are trying to make sense of what you are seeing… is the place God is asking you to release.

Because transformation does not happen through human reasoning.

It happens through divine alignment.

“In all thy ways acknowledge him…”

Not just in what you understand.

Not just in what feels clear.

But in every place that still feels unsettled.

“And he shall direct thy paths.”

Not your thoughts alone.

Not your feelings alone.

Your path.

This is where awareness turns into movement.

Where what you’ve seen begins to shape how you walk.

And this is the continuation of the journey.

Not just seeing clearly…

but living differently.

Reflection

Where in your life have you been sensing that something isn’t right?

Have you been trying to push past it… or has God been asking you to slow down and look deeper?

What is He revealing to you right now that you have not fully walked through yet?

Are you staying in awareness… or allowing Him to lead you into transformation?

Prayer

Father,

There are places in me that I have felt, but not fully understood.

Moments where something didn’t sit right… and I tried to move past it instead of pausing with You in it.

Today, I choose to trust You in what I am seeing and what I do not yet understand.

Teach me not to lean on my own understanding, but to acknowledge You in every place that feels uncertain, unsettled, or incomplete.

Give me the courage to not stop at awareness…

but to follow You into the deeper work of transformation.

Align my thoughts, my responses, and my path with Your truth.

And as You reveal, lead me step by step into the life You have been forming in me all along.

In Jesus’ name,

Amen.

If something in you has been stirring…

if you’ve been recognizing what’s off but don’t know how to move forward from it…

this is not the end of your journey.

It’s the beginning.

I created a place to help guide you through that next step…

not just to see clearly… but to walk in truth with clarity.

If you’ve already taken those first steps…

and you’re realizing that what you’ve uncovered goes deeper than you expected…

you’re not meant to stay at the surface.

There is a place where what you’ve recognized begins to transform how you live…

where truth is not just seen, but established.

If you’re ready for that deeper work…

I created a full course to walk you through it, step by step.
