The dream began in a place I knew—downtown, yet unfamiliar.
And in the sky… something unthinkable. A massive elephant, cloaked in a flowing black cape, flew overhead, releasing a mist a dark fog that rolled over the city like sorrow. It didn’t feel magical. It felt heavy. Like it came to blind and bind.
The Hallway of Choices
Then I was inside a building a hallway with four doors, each one daring me to open it. I stepped into the first.
Inside was my husband at the time. He approached me like he always had quiet, commanding, familiar. But this time something rose in me. Holy fire. Authority. Power.
Without a word, I raised my arm. My hand snapped back palm open and as I stretched it toward him, a surge of divine power shot from my spirit. It didn’t bruise him. It removed him. He was thrown out of the building completely.
That door disappeared. And I was in the second room.
The Tests Ahead
Each room after had its own task its own battle. I don’t remember all the steps, only that I passed every test. What waited for me on the other side wasn’t celebration… It was confrontation.
I stepped outside, and there he was unconscious, lying on the ground. I put my foot on his chest, not in hatred, but in victory. Like I was standing over the final piece of what once held me.
He stirred and asked, “What is happening?”
That’s when I looked up.
The Sign in the Sky
The northern sky was opening, and there in the clouds were three baby elephants, flying in a circle, their trunks linked as if innocent but I knew better.
I looked down at him and declared:
“Do you not know? The coming of the Lord is at hand.”
And then… I woke up.
But I woke up changed.
Scripture Reflection
Luke 10:19 – “I have given you authority… to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.”
2 Timothy 3:5 – “…having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.”
Romans 13:11 – “…it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.”
Moral of the Story
There are levels to deliverance. There are strongholds disguised as people, memories, or even love. But when Jesus gives you authority, you will walk out free, tested, and standing. And when the fog clears lift your eyes. The sky will remind you:
He’s coming soon.
The Importance of Authority
Understanding the authority given to us is crucial. It empowers us to confront the challenges we face. This authority is not just a concept; it is a reality that transforms our lives.
When we embrace this power, we can overcome obstacles that once seemed insurmountable. The journey may be difficult, but the outcome is worth it.
Embracing Change
Change can be daunting. However, it is often necessary for growth. In my dream, the confrontation represented a pivotal moment. It was a moment of realization and transformation.
Embracing change allows us to step into our true selves. It opens doors to new opportunities and experiences.
The Role of Faith
Faith plays a significant role in our journey. It acts as a guiding light, helping us navigate through darkness. When we trust in the divine, we find strength and courage to face our fears.
Faith reassures us that we are not alone. It connects us to a higher purpose and provides clarity in times of confusion.
Conclusion: A Call to Action
As we reflect on these experiences, let us remember the importance of authority, change, and faith. Each of these elements contributes to our journey of deliverance.
We are called to rise above our circumstances and embrace the power within us. Let us not shy away from the challenges but face them with courage and conviction.
