When the Eagles Came DivinelyDesigned60 | Heaven Came Close Series© All Rights Reserved

I was just standing there—where exactly, I’m not sure. Somewhere between the natural and the supernatural. And then they came.

Three enormous eagles.

Majestic. Towering. Wings wide enough to eclipse the sky. They didn’t flap like ordinary birds. They soared with purpose, with unity—like they’d been sent. And they had.

One lowered itself in front of me, wings bowed. And without words, I knew…

Mount up.

So I did.

As soon as I climbed on its back, we rose—higher and higher until the world below became mist. I wasn’t afraid. I wasn’t lost. I was in formation.

We flew in harmony, the three of them surrounding me like divine guardians. The air shifted. The light changed. I knew we had entered the heavenlies.

And then I saw it.

In the distance, like a city shimmering with gold fire—the gates of heaven.

They weren’t blurry. They were clear. So close I could almost hear the worship pouring through them.

And just as I leaned in, drawn by glory… I woke up.

But I didn’t wake up empty.

I woke up marked.

I woke up with the wind of heaven still in my spirit.

Scripture Reflection:

Isaiah 40:31
“But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles…”

Revelation 4:1
“Come up here, and I will show you…”

Psalm 103:5
“…your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.”

Moral of the Story:

You weren’t meant to crawl through life.

You were meant to fly—with vision, with purpose, and in formation with the plans of heaven.

And when God sends the eagles, don’t hesitate.

Mount up.
