Forgiveness

Father, forgiveness is not always a one time decision. Sometimes it is a daily choice. Help me continue walking in forgiveness each day. When old memories return, remind me of the freedom that comes from releasing them again into Your hands. Guide my heart so that forgiveness becomes a natural part of how I live and love. Amen.

Lord, I recognize that unforgiveness can keep my heart bound to pain. Today I ask You to help me release every offense into Your hands. As I choose forgiveness, fill my heart with Your peace and restore the joy that comes from walking in freedom. Let forgiveness become a doorway into deeper healing and renewed strength. Amen.

Father, You have shown me great mercy throughout my life. Help me extend that same mercy to others. When I feel tempted to hold onto offense, remind me of the grace You have given me. Shape my heart so that it reflects kindness, patience, and compassion toward those around me. Amen.

Lord, I bring the past before You today. There are moments I revisit and wounds I have carried for far too long. I ask that You help me release those memories into Your care. Give me the courage to move forward without allowing the past to control my present. Let forgiveness become the doorway to a new season of peace in my life. Amen.

Father, sometimes the hardest person for me to forgive is myself. I remember the mistakes I have made and the things I wish I could change. Yet I know that Your mercy is greater than my past. Help me accept the forgiveness You have already given. Teach me to release guilt and walk forward in the grace that You freely offer. Amen.

Lord, create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me. Remove any hidden anger, resentment, or unforgiveness that may be lingering beneath the surface. I desire a heart that reflects Your mercy and Your compassion. Purify my thoughts and renew my spirit so that I may walk in the freedom of forgiveness. Amen.

Father, I bring before You the people who have hurt me. You know their actions and You know the pain it caused. Today I choose to place them in Your hands. I release the desire to hold their actions against them. Help me forgive as an act of obedience and trust in You. Fill my heart with peace and allow Your grace to guide my response. Amen.

Lord, You see the wounds that others cannot see. You know the moments that caused pain and the words that left scars on my heart. I ask that You bring healing where hurt has settled. As You restore my heart, help me also walk the path of forgiveness. Let healing and forgiveness grow together so that my heart can experience the freedom You desire for me. Amen.

Father, search my heart and reveal anything that has taken root there that does not belong. If bitterness or resentment has grown quietly within me, I ask that You remove it. I do not want anger or pain to shape my heart. Replace bitterness with Your peace and help me release the weight of what I have been carrying. Let my heart remain soft before You. Amen.

Heavenly Father, I come before You knowing that forgiveness is not always easy for my heart. Some wounds run deep and some memories still carry pain. Yet I know that You have called me to forgive just as You have forgiven me. Give me the strength to release what I have been holding onto. Help me lay the hurt into Your hands so that bitterness does not take root within me. Teach my heart to walk in freedom and grace. Amen.
